Guide
Team & roles
One account per person, any number of roles. Roles are held at an organization or at a single venue.
The roles
| Role | Scope | Can |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Organization | Everything a manager can, plus invite and remove people, change roles, rename the organization and connect Stripe. An organization always keeps at least one owner. |
| Manager | Organization | Run every venue in the organization: charts, events, pricing, holds, sale phases, publishing, refunds, voids, marketing. |
| Venue manager | One venue | The same, for that venue only. |
| Promoter | One venue | See the venue's events and inventory, build marketing links, and read the marketing report for their own links. Cannot change pricing or inventory, and does not see box‑office screens. |
| Box office | One venue | Sell, will‑call, reprint and scan. Cannot void, refund, or see presale access codes or marketing revenue. |
Access is deny‑by‑default: a screen or action not granted by a role isn't shown and isn't accepted.
Inviting people
- From the organization's Team page, an owner enters an email and a role (owner or manager) and sends the invitation.
- The recipient gets an email with a link. They can see who invited them, to which organization, with what role, before accepting. New and existing accounts both work; the email on the account must match the one invited.
- Invitations expire after 7 days and can be revoked earlier. Pending invitations are listed with the members.
Invitations grant organization roles (owner or manager). Venue‑level roles (venue manager, promoter, box office) are set up by the platform operator today; ask your platform contact. Self‑serve assignment from the venue page is planned, not built.
Leaving and removing
- Managers can leave an organization themselves. Owners can't leave while they're the last owner; make someone else an owner first.
- Removing a person removes every role they held in that organization. Their account continues to exist for anything else they use it for.
